I have a beautiful little girl of 7 months. I had a happy relationship with both her and her mother. One day my ex partner decides to move to a new city and leave me. A week later she asks me to move in with her mother and stay till we find our own place. Me being in love and missing my daughter at the time moves straight there without realising what she was doing. A few weeks pass and all was well then one day the doors locked. I am told I have to go back to my parents house and I'm blocked on everything. I beg her to let me at least see my daughter because I deserve that much. She sais she won't allow me to without a negative drug test. I have never done drugs since having my daughter and she knows that. She then proceeds to say I was emotionally abusive and I need to get help. I then have been receiving calls from people like the police and victim support group asking for HER name. I'm going to try and get mediation involved as I don't have the funds to take this to court. But I'm afraid she is going to refuse on the grounds of abuse. Does anyone have any advice, I'm so scared I won't see my daughter for a long time and its not fair. Thank you for hearing my story.

I take it you've contacted legal aid? I baulked at the £3500 or so fathers for justice say they will do your hole case for at the start thinking I'd only have to attend court once and get shares custody then the ex came out with all sorts of lies and I'm 8 months and £20000 in legal fees down only getting to see my daughter under supervision! It's a horrendous system and the father has zero rights in my experience. Even though I can prove my ex is lying my solicitor says it's not the time to submit my evidence as it would push the judge to make a ruling and since I'm only seeing her 2 hours a week he wouldn't change that much so wouldn't be in my interest to do it now
To take her to court only costs £35. You need to go to the government website and fill a c100 form out. You can represent yourself in court as most parents do because of the costs. Hope this helps
