With the support of the PAPA community, we have continued to raise awareness of parental alienation and push for change, reaching some important milestones along the way.

At PAPA we always work tirelessly to spread awareness of parental alienation and the devastation it causes families.

Thanks to some amazing members and volunteers we have managed to continue the growth of the movement and break new ground in the fight against parental alienation.

PAPA founder Simon Cobb said at the start of 2025 that he planned to really accelerate the growth of the movement and so far we have been able to really push forward in our efforts to help and reach as many people as possible.

What Progress Has Been Made?

We have already made considerable progress in the fight against parental alienation in 2025.

We have introduced new campaigns as well as new resources for alienated parents, with our PAPA Plus initiative.

At the start of the year we concluded our 'Christmas Present' campaign, where we put up signs saying 'The Best Christmas Present is a Parent's Presence' over the Christmas period, including doing 5 towns and cities on Christmas Day.

This campaign is also supported by the Santa's Roadshow we have volunteered to help with the past two years, in the hopes of letting alienated parents know we are there for them.

After we concluded the Christmas campaign we were very committed to starting the year quickly with a new campaign.

The Death Penalty Campaign

In January we launched a new campaign called the 'Death Penalty Campaign'.

This campaign was designed to raise awareness of how family courts are inadvertently sentencing some parents to death due to a slow judicial process and the lack of enforcement of court orders.

To demonstrate the devastating impact of the family court's shortcomings we displayed wreaths and flower displays outside family courts across the East of England.

We were able to put on demonstrations at 12 different courthouses this year so far, with more planned in the future.

To date we have put on demonstrations in: Peterborough, Leicester, Boston, Nottingham, Kings Lynn, Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, Huntingdon, Cambridge, Lincoln, Norwich and Great Yarmouth.

In terms of awareness, the campaign was a great success.

Not only did a lot of people engage with the demonstrations at the various locations but we also received a lot of media coverage, with 15 different media publications reporting on the campaign, including the BBC.

This incredible coverage would not have been achievable without the kind donations of PAPA members and followers, so thank you all so much.

At present the Death Penalty Campaign is postponed, with more dates to be added in the future, when budget and time allows.

The Introduction of PAPA Plus

Over the past couple of months we've started rolling out our new initiative; PAPA Plus.

We have launched this for two main reasons; the first being as a way to raise funds to help cover our costs of running PAPA, including future campaigns and the second being to give our members the resources they need at a ridiculously affordable price.

PAPA Plus gives our members access to a wide range of resources and courses designed to help alienated parents. Plus members also have the option to book a call with someone from the PAPA team.

The plan is to continually improve our resources for our members and scale up our awareness efforts.

The more PAPA Plus members we have, the quicker we are able to improve our resources and the quicker we are able to scale up our awareness efforts.

If you support our work then please consider joining PAPA Plus.

Your donation will help us help more and more people.

Collaborative Efforts

At PAPA we are always looking to collaborate as much as possible, especially with policymakers and members of parliament but also fellow advocates.

Last year we started our 'T-Shirt Campaign', where we are meeting with policymakers and members of parliament and asking them to sign our t-shirt in support of equal parenting opportunities.

Sir John Hayes was the first to sign it and we have meetings lined up to get more signatures, before we hand deliver the fully signed t-shirt to the Houses of Parliament.

We took the time to meet with Charlotte Cane, MP in Ely, in January, with the hopes of her supporting equal parenting and signing our t-shirt.

Sadly, when asked, Charlotte said that she doesn't know if both parents are equally important and would have to look into it.

We've been waiting for over 3 months for a follow-up meeting with Charlotte so her lack of support is disappointing but not surprising.

There are many members of parliament who do support our cause and I'm happy to say we have some more meetings lined up with other MP's in the near future, with the expectation of their public support.

We also had the pleasure of meeting with a fellow advocate and PAPA member, Michael Love, in February.

Michael is the founder of a TikTok account called Deadbeat Dadbod and he spent the best part of 8 months walking the coastline of England and Wales to raise awareness of the inequality of the family courts.

This is as a result of Michael being unjustly stopped from seeing his own son despite his best efforts both in and out of family court.

A story many will know all too well.

As Michael reached the coastline near to where we are based, we made sure to take the time to meet up and show our support to his efforts.

During our 3 hour meeting in a pub over Fish and Chips, we discussed a lot of the issues within the family law system and how we can work together to address this.

We are very happy to have Michael on board as a PAPA Ambassador and we look forward to working together on future awareness campaigns.

Michael concluded his tour by holding a protest on April 25th before his group headed down to Portsmouth to join the rest of the PAPA members who were congregating in anticipation for our Parental Alienation Awareness Day display.

The World's Largest Tribute to Alienated Parents and Children

On April 25th 2025 we at PAPA were able to deliver the world's largest tribute to alienated parents and children, as we illuminated the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth in the PAPA signature teal green.

This is the first time the Spinnaker Tower has ever been illuminated in this colour and in fact, they told us that they didn't think they could do it but they more than delivered on the night.

Overall it was a great success.

Not only were we able to make history by delivering the world's largest tribute to alienated parents and children but we were also able to gain some important media coverage.

Hundreds of PAPA members and followers made their way to Portsmouth from all over the UK, as well as some international members from France, Belgium and the US.

We had three meeting places for members, which were busy all day and night with PAPA members, with many members also scattered across the city sending us their great shots of the tower.

A few newspaper publications, including the Portsmouth News reported on the event and we were even able to get some TV coverage with both That's TV and the BBC.

We have shown what can be done to raise awareness of parental alienation and the hundreds of members who showed out in Portsmouth for it have proven how important this cause is, so we will look to build on it in the future.

We hope more of you will join us in Portsmouth next year as we look to make it bigger and better!

The Future of Parental Alienation Awareness

It's clear PAPA has made some significant progress at the start of 2025 but it's also important that we continue to build on this momentum.

To do this we need as much support as possible, so please consider joining PAPA Plus and help us build on our efforts.

Now that we have delivered the above, we are working on some new projects, with the hope of helping and reaching more and more people in need.

The Child Benefit Campaign

Our next campaign is now starting and is designed to raise awareness of how there's no child benefit to the benefit system, due to the fact that it does not support a child's relationship with both parents.

As always, with this campaign we will be distributing cards and posters, as well as putting up signs.

You can download our Child Benefit Campaign poster here.

We plan on putting on some demonstrations and getting some illustrative content soon to help support our awareness efforts.

PAPA AI

On May 9th we will be introducing our PAPA AI, which is designed to help PAPA members through the family court system.

PAPA AI will be available to all PAPA Plus members.

We believe this will be an incredibly useful tool to all of our members by providing comprehensive family court assistance.

There will also be a course on how to use PAPA AI and maximise its potential.

Much more to follow on this.

Moving Forward

It's clear that PAPA has made considerable progress in 2025 but it's important that we maintain this momentum and continue to grow the movement.

To do this we need as much support as possible.

The best way to support the movement is by becoming a PAPA Plus member.

If you wish to do even more to help PAPA then you can download our free posters and distribute them in your local area, you can distribute our awareness cards and join our ambassador program.

We are also always looking for volunteers to help our members with their cases and to help improve our resources.

If you feel you can help PAPA grow as a movement then please feel free to reach out.

We are stronger together!
